2017 was one of our top three vintages for that main reason being we did not experience many heat waves, January and February were cool months with the evening cooling down properly – this gave us a long ripening period. With no major temperature spikes we enjoyed a gradual ripening effect. We also enjoyed enough rain as this was before the dry cycle.
